IOB LBO Recruitment 2025: How To Apply & Fee Payment

The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released the Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online between May 12 and May 31, 2025. This guide explains how to fill out the form and make the fee payment.

 IOB LBO Recruitment 2025: Instructions Before Applying Online

1. Apply for ONE state only – Multiple applications for the same state are not allowed; if done, the last submitted application will be considered.
2. Application Mode – Only online application.
3. Application Dates – Apply between May 12, 2025, to May 31, 2025. You can’t fill out an application after the last date.

Important Things to Do Before You Apply

• Read the detailed advertisement – Go to www.iob.in → Careers → Click on Advertisement (English) under “Recruitment of Local Bank Officers – 2025-26”.
• Check your eligibility carefully before applying.
• Scan and prepare your photo and signature as per the size and format mentioned in Annexure I.
• Have a valid personal email ID – It must stay active throughout the recruitment process. Do not share this email with anyone else.
• If you don’t have an email ID, create a new one before applying.

Registration Fee to Apply

IOB LBO Recruitment 2025

• Step 1: Visit the official website: www.iob.in
• Step 2: Click on the ‘Careers’ page and find “Recruitment of Local Bank Officers – 2025-26”.
• Step 3: Select your post and click “Register Online”.
• Step 4: Click on “Click here to Register Online” and complete the basic registration.
• Step 5: Upon successful registration, you will receive:
  • Email and SMS containing your Registration Number and Password.
  • Note down these details carefully for future use.

Filling the Application Form

• Step 1: Log in using your Registration Number and Password.
• Step 2: Upload your scanned photo and signature as per the guidelines in Annexure I.
• Step 3: Enter all required details (personal, educational, and other details) carefully.
• Step 4: Ensure names are spelled correctly (as per certificates/mark sheets). Mistakes may lead to disqualification.
• Step 5: Click on the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” button after filling all the required fields.
• Step 6: Take a printout of the submitted application form.
• Step 7: Save the printed application for future reference.
• Step 8: Upload Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration as per instructions under the Uploads section.

IOB LBO Recruitment 2025: Payment of Registration Fee

• Step 1: Only candidates who have successfully submitted the online application can proceed to pay the intimation charges.
• Step 2: Only online mode of payment
  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • Internet Banking
  • BHIM / UPI, etc.
• Step 3: After a successful transaction, you will see an e-receipt.
• Step 4: Candidates must take a printout of the e-receipt and keep it safe for future reference.

Important Notes on Application Validity

• This is the only valid procedure to apply.
• No other method of application (offline or incomplete submission) will be accepted.
• Any such incomplete or invalid applications will be rejected without notice.
• The information provided in the application will be binding on the candidate.
• In case of false details at a later stage, the candidate may face:
  • DisqualificationLegal action or
  • Civil consequences / prosecution

Credit History Requirement

• Applicants must ensure they have a healthy credit history.
• Candidates should have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining.
• The required credit score will be based on the bank’s internal policy, which may be updated from time to time.
