IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Age Criteria

Age Relaxation for PwBD and OBC-NCL Category Candidates
- Candidates belonging to the PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) category are eligible for age relaxation of up to 10 years.
- If the PwBD candidate also belongs to the SC/ST category, they are eligible for up to 15 years of age relaxation.
- Candidates from the OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer) category are eligible for up to 13 years of age relaxation.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details
The IOCL Apprentices vacancies are released, and through this recruitment process, a total of 475 vacancies will be filled by a trade apprentice trainee. Trade and Technician Apprentice posts across different states, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
The Opportunity Discipline includes Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, Civil, Mechanical, and more. The total number of seats is divided among different categories such as UR, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD as per government reservation rules. Candidates can apply based on their educational qualification and state preference.
IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the merit list. The preparation of the merit list will be on the basis of the previous year’s qualification marks.
- In this apprentice recruitment, there will be no entrance exam and no Interview.
- In case two or more applicants have secured the same marks, the applicant older in age gives priority.
- Before applying, they must ensure that they are registered on the NAPS/ NATS portal, and applying against the notification shall be considered for selection.
- Only those candidates whose names will appear in the merit list to be called for Document verification.
- Candidates must be medical fits.

- Step-6: Upload all required scan documents, including Passport size photo, signature, ITI Certificate, Date of Birth Proof, Caste/PwD certificate.
- Step 7: Double-check all details before final submission.
- Step 8: Click on the submit button to complete your application. There is no application fee necessary.

- 10th/SSLC/Matric certificate or marksheet as proof of Date of Birth
- Caste/Disability certificate (for reserved categories)
- OBC-NCL certificate (latest, within 12 months, in Central Govt. format)
- Certificate from the institute stating the regular mode of study and the year of passing
- Semester-wise/year-wise mark sheets (ITI/Graduation/Diploma)
- Final certificate of ITI (NCVT) / HSC / Graduation / Diploma
- Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank passbook copy, cancelled cheque leaf
