JAG Entry 124 Course – Application Update
Applications are now open for JAG Entry 124 course commencing October 2026. Candidates must apply carefully—no written test; selection via 5-day SSB interview only.

Matriculation Certificate – Primary Document
This is the first and foremost document for verifying date of birth (DOB) and identity.

Indian Army Relaxation for Parents’ Names
If parents’ names (father/mother) are missing or incorrect in the Matriculation/10th certificate:

Acceptable Alternative Documents
Candidates must produce any Govt of India/State Govt document for verification:

• PAN Card
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport
• Driving License
• Or similar official ID

Mandatory Matching Rule
Names filled in the online application (candidate + parents) must exactly match the names in the submitted document. No discrepancies allowed.

Official Document Policy

• Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent from Education Board) is accepted as proof of DOB, candidate’s name, and parents’ names.
• No other documents accepted: Admit card, marksheet, transfer certificate, etc.

Indian Army JAG Entry 2026 Selection Process

Eligibility (Must Fulfill All)

• Unmarried Male or Unmarried Female
• Age: 21–27 years as on 01 July 2026 (Born not earlier than 02 July 1999 and not later than 01 July 2005)
• Education: LLB Degree (3-year or 5-year integrated) with minimum 55% aggregate marks (from Bar Council of India approved college/university)
• Must be eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council
• Mandatory: Appeared in CLAT PG 2025 exam (score will be used for shortlisting – no separate written test)

Documents Required to Keep Ready (Scanned Copies in JPG/PDF)

1. Class 10th mark sheet & certificate (for DOB proof)
2. Class 12th mark sheet & certificate
3. LLB all semester/year mark sheets + Degree certificate/Provisional (if final not issued)
4. CLAT PG 2025 scorecard/admit card (showing you appeared)

6. Recent passport size photo (JPG, 100-200 KB)

Detailed Step-by-Step Application Process (With Screenshots Explanation)

Step 1: Visit Official Website Go to → https://joinindianarmy.nic.in

Step 2: New User? Complete One-Time Registration

• On homepage, click “Officer Selection” (top menu) → Then click “Apply Online” or directly look for “Officer Entry Apply/Login” button (big orange/red button).
• If not registered → Click “Registration”.
• Fill registration form:
  • Enter Name (as in 10th certificate)
  • Mother’s & Father’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Valid Email ID & Mobile Number
  • Create Username & strong Password
  • Enter Captcha → Submit
• You will receive Username & Password on email/SMS. Save it safely – you will need it every time.

3: Login

• Click “Officer Entry Apply/Login” → Login with Username & Password.

4: Go to Dashboard & Start Application

• After login → Dashboard opens → Click “Apply Online” (left side menu).

5: Check Eligibility

• A page “Officers Selection – Eligibility” opens.
• Click on “Check Eligibility” button.
• Select Gender, Enter CLAT PG 2025 Roll Number, Date of Birth etc. → Submit.
• If eligible, it will show “You are eligible” for JAG Entry.

6: Select the Course & Apply

• Now click “Apply” against “JAG Entry Scheme 124th Course (Oct 2026)” (it will be listed under current notifications).
• Application form opens in multiple parts/tabs.

7: Fill the Application Form (20-30 minutes) Part 1: Personal Details (auto-filled mostly) – verify & edit if needed Part 2: Communication Details (address, mobile, email) Part 3: Educational Qualifications

• Enter 10th, 12th, Graduation, LLB details carefully
• Upload mark sheets & certificates
• Enter LLB percentage exactly (aggregate of all years/semesters) Part 4: CLAT PG 2025 Details
• Enter Roll Number, Score (if available), Application Number Part 5: Upload Documents & Photo/Signature
• Photo: Recent colour passport size (35mm x 45mm), white background
• Signature: On white paper with black pen

• Order of preference (only one entry, so no multiple choices)

8: Final Submission

• Preview the entire form → Check every detail carefully (once submitted, limited correction possible).
• Tick declaration → Click “Submit”.
• Take 2 printouts of the filled application form (very important for SSB).
• You will get a Roll Number – note it down.

Step 9: No Need to Send Hard Copy

• Only online application is sufficient.
• Do NOT send any documents by post.

After Submission

• Shortlisting: Based only on CLAT PG 2025 marks (higher score = better chance).
• Cut-off expected: Usually 90–105+ marks (varies every year).
• SSB call letter: Will come on email/portal (likely April–June 2026).
• Only one application allowed – multiple will lead to cancellation.
