JEPBN Scorecard

The scorecard includes key performance metrics for each candidate.

1. Candidate Information
Contains your name, roll number, application number, category, and domicile status.

2. Marks Section
Displays:

  • Part A and Part B Marks: Separate scores for each exam section (General Nursing subjects and specialized topics).
  • Total Marks: Combined score from both parts, based on the marking scheme (1 mark for correct response and -0.25 for incorrect answer).

3. Percentile / Score Interpretation
The raw score is converted into a percentile rank for fairness across candidates. This percentile determines position in the merit list.

4. Qualifying Status
Indicates whether the candidate has met the minimum required marks to qualify for admission and counselling.

 JEPBN Rank List

The rank list (merit list) is prepared using total and sectional marks.

Key points to understand:

  • General Merit Rank (GMR):
This is the all-over rank among all candidates, regardless of category.
  • Category Rank (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B):
Represents the rank secured within your specific category as per the reservation rules.
  • Tie-Breaking Rules:
When two candidates share identical scores, the following criteria are applied in order :
    1. Higher marks in Part B.
    2. Fewer total negative marks.
    3. Fewer negative marks in Part B.
    4. Fewer negative marks in Part A.

If your scorecard shows:

  • Marks: 78/100
