Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) PhD admission for the academic session 2025-26 is currently open, with the online application window running approximately from 26th to 28 July 2025.

JNU PhD Admission Last Date
- Application Dates: 26th June to 28th July 2025
- Eligibility:
- Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks from a UGC-recognized university.
- Candidates must qualify in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or hold Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or have qualified GATE in relevant subjects, as per the discipline requirements.
- Admission Process:
- Submission of the online application form within the deadline.
- Correction window to update.
- Invitation for viva-voce examination to be updated.
- Viva-voce exams are scheduled tentatively between 25th and 31st July 2025.
- Merit lists (first, second, possibly third/final) will be published during August and September 2025.
- Pre-enrolment, fee payment, and physical verification follow after the merit list publication.
