JPSC Civil Services Exam Date
The exam date for Preliminary examination has been out it will be on 12 April and answer key will be out next day 13 April. You must know that Preliminary exam is qualifying in Nature and marks secured in this exam will not be added for final merit list.
You must qualify it to be eligible for Mains exam
There are three stages of selection first is preliminary stage, second stage is Mains exam and final interview.
You must know that there is no restriction of appearing in the civil service exam if you are eligible or do not cross the age limit mentioned
The JPSC Civil Services Exam 2025 is conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission for recruitment to various state administrative services, including roles like Deputy Collector, DSP, etc. A total of 103 vacancies have been notified for this cycle.

Prelim (Screening) Exam
- Originally scheduled for 8 March 2026, the Preliminary Test was rescheduled and is now set to be held on 12 April 2026.

- Answer key Objection window closing 22 April 2026
Main (Written) Exam
- Proposed for 2 May 2026 to 4 May 2026.
Interview / Personality Test
- Typically held mid-June 2026 (e.g., 16–19 June for Regular stream).

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: There is a minimum and maximum age (varies by category). Note: Age calculation cut-off controversy has led to aspirant protests over fairness.
- Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts as long as the candidate is within the specified age limit.

- Paper-I: General Studies — 120 questions — 150 marks
- Paper-II: Aptitude/General Ability — 80 questions — 100 marks

- कुल मार्क्स: 400 (प्रत्येक 200)।
- स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट: केवल क्वालीफिकेशन के लिए—प्रीलिम्स मार्क्स फाइनल मेरिट में नहीं गिने जाते (मेन्स + इंटरव्यू पर निर्भर)।
नेगेटिव मार्किंग नियम (कोई नेगेटिव नहीं!)
- गलत जवाब: 0 मार्क्स (नेगेटिव कटौती नहीं)।
- एक से ज्यादा जवाब: गलत माना जाएगा (भले एक सही हो)—0 मार्क्स।
- खाली छोड़ा: कोई पेनल्टी नहीं (0 मार्क्स, लेकिन सुरक्षित)।

- सही जवाब: पूरे मार्क्स।
- गलत/मल्टीपल: 0।
- ब्लैंक: 0 (बेहतर विकल्प अगर अनिश्चित)।

Main exam includes descriptive papers such as:

Total mains marks are generally around 500+ (excluding qualifying papers).
Interview (Personality Test)
- Marks for interview are usually significant and test awareness, communication skills, and persona.
