KCET 2026 application form submission process has started for admission to engineering and other field. The selection will be made through KCET 2026, which is a ticket to the medical and allied courses. Engineering and farm courses in the state.

Who cannot take print out of Application form?
Candidates claiming eligibility under Clause-A, along with specific reservations, must follow these steps after submitting their application:
- Residency-based claims: Studied 10 full academic years in Kannada medium (1st to 10th standard) or in rural areas (1st to 10th standard).
- Linguistic minority claims: Studied 10 years from 1st to 12th standard for Tulu, Tamil, Telugu, or Kodava reservations.
- Religious minority claims: Muslim or Christian reservation.
Post-submission process:
- Only the claim slip will be available for download initially.
- The Claims Certificate will show one of these statuses: “Claimed & Verified,” “Claimed but Not Verified,” or “Not Claimed.”
- No complete application can be printed at this stage.
Document verification:
- Submit all required documents at your current college or any government college.
- Once verified by the college, you can log in to the portal and print your CET-2026 application form
Who will get the printout of the application form?
For Government seat eligibility under Clause (a) (prescribed 7 years of study, including 10th class or 2nd PUC/12th class):
Verification process:
- Once details are confirmed, the Claims Certificate will show “Successfully Verified” status.
- You can then print the CET-2026 application form directly from your portal.
- No need to visit any office or college for document verification.
Post-results:
- After CET-2026 results are declared, download your verification slip from the portal.

3. Internal Reservation for Scheduled Internal Reservation for Scheduled Caste (SC) Candidates:
- Government Order: SKE 08 SLP 2024, Bangalore, dated 25-08-2025.
- Applies to: Karnataka SC candidates under Category-A, Category-B, or Category-C.
Requirements:
- Obtain an SC certificate from the concerned Tahsildar in the prescribed format, including internal reservation details.
- Enter the RD number from the certificate in your CET-2026 application
4. Verifying the details through Aadhaar Card Name Matching is Mandatory:
- SSLC marks card name must exactly match the Aadhaar card name.
- Caste or Caste-Income certificate name must exactly match the SSLC marks card name.
Why it matters: Ensures smooth verification now and avoids future issues.
Action steps:
- Compare names across SSLC, Aadhaar, and certificates.
- If discrepancies exist, immediately correct:
- Aadhaar card name (to match SSLC).
- Caste/caste-income certificates (to match SSLC).
