KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) 2026 is the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala for admission to various professional undergraduate courses in Kerala.

As of February 5, 2026, the KEAM 2026 registration is currently ongoing (extended deadline), and the process has already started.

Courses Covered under KEAM 2026
- Engineering (B.Tech) → Through KEAM Engineering Entrance (CBT)
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm) → Through KEAM (CBT)
- Architecture (B.Arch) → Based on NATA score + KEAM registration
- Medical & Allied (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS, BVSc & AH, BSc Nursing, etc.) → Based on NEET-UG 2026 score + KEAM registration for centralized allotment
- Other courses: Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Fisheries, B.Tech Biotechnology, Climate Change & Environmental Science, etc.
Important: Even if admission is through NEET/NATA, registration through KEAM portal is mandatory for centralized counselling in Kerala.
KEAM 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizen (Keralite or non-Keralite categories defined in prospectus)
- Age: Minimum 17 years as on December 31, 2026 (no upper age limit for most courses)
- Educational Qualification (for Engineering/Pharmacy):
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
- Minimum 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for reserved categories)
- For B.Arch: 10+2 with PCM + valid NATA score
- For Medical/Allied: 10+2 with PCB + valid NEET-UG score
- Nativity: Keralite or eligible non-Keralite (specific conditions apply)
Application Fee (Expected – Check Prospectus for Exact)
- General: ₹800–₹900
- SC/ST: ₹400–₹450
- Additional fees may apply if applying for multiple streams
Fee payment is online (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI).
How to Apply (Step-by-Step – When Still Open)
- Visit https://cee.kerala.gov.in/keamonline2026
- Click “New Registration” (if first time) → Enter mobile, email, name, etc. → Verify OTP
- Login → Fill personal, academic, category, reservation details
- Upload scanned documents:
- Recent passport-size photo (taken within 6 months)
- Signature
- Class 10 certificate (for DOB & nativity proof)
- Other certificates (caste, income, nativity, etc. – if claiming reservation)
- Pay application fee online
- Submit & download confirmation page
No correction window is usually provided after final submission — double-check everything before final submit.
Exam Pattern (Engineering & Pharmacy – CBT)
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Total questions: 120 (usually)
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Marking: +4 correct, -1 wrong (negative marking)
- Medium: English only
