The Meghalaya board has released the date sheet for the class 10 board exam date. Class 12 date sheet will also be out soon.The Meghalaya Board SSLC (Class 10) examinations for 2026 are scheduled to be held from January 30, 2026, to February 11, 2026.
MBOSE conducts the exam for SSLC and higher secondary exams every year. The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) is officially responsible for regulating, supervising, and developing school education in Meghalaya, India. Established in 1973 and headquartered in Tura, MBOSE oversees curriculum design, syllabus framing, textbook publication, teacher training, and the conduct of key public examinations.
MBOSE SSLC 10 Dates and Timings
- Exams start: January 30, 2026
- Exams end: February 11, 2026
- Exam timing: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (students will get 15 minutes reading time from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM before writing begins).

Additional Exam Details
- Exams will be in offline, pen-and-paper format.
- Supplementary exams (for those who did not pass) will be in March 2026.

Important to Remember
- The Indian Languages offered are: Garo, Khasi, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Nepali, Urdu, and Mizo.
- Vocational Subjects in lieu of Computer Science/Health & Physical Education include: Beauty and Wellness, Tourism, Health Care, Electronics, Agriculture, ITES, Apparels, Plumbing, Food Processing, Telecom, Banking, and Automobile Repair.
- Examination halls will open at 9:30 AM.
- Question papers distribution will be at 9:45 AM.
- Answer scripts will be given out at 9:50 AM.
- Candidates can start writing the exam at 10:00 AM.
- The theory examination duration for Vocational Subjects is one hour, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
- In the event of any unforeseen exigency or important official announcement from State/Central Governments on the scheduled dates, the examination programme may reschedule if necessary.
