• Candidates should have successfully completed the two-year NBEMS Diploma course in their chosen specialty at a recognized institution.
• Submission of Training Completion Certificate indicating details of leave taken during diploma training for NBEMS Diploma trainees is an essential pre-requisite Otherwise application Object to reject.

NBE Diploma Final Theory 2025 Scheme of Examination 

Theory Examination Scheme 

• The theory examination comprises of three papers, maximum marks 100 each.
• There are 10 short notes of 10 marks each, in each of the papers.
• The Number of short notes and their respective marks Weightage may vary in some subjects/ some papers.
• Maximum time permitted is 3 hours.
• Candidates must Score at least 150/ 300 in the aggregate of 3 papers to qualify the theory examination. 
• Grace marks of up to 2% of maximum marks i.e. 6/300 shall give only to the candidates falling in the zone of consideration i.e. securing between 144-149 marks out of 300. 
• Only those candidates who will qualify the theory examination are eligible to take the practical examination. 

NBE Diploma Final Theory 2025 Practical Examination 

• Maximum Marks – 300 Marks
• Comprises of OSCE and / or Clinical Examination, and Viva.
• Candidates must obtain a minimum of 150/300 marks to Qualify for the practical Examination. 
• There is no provision for grace marks in Practical examination
• There are a maximum of three attempts that can availed by a candidate for Practical Examination.
• First attempt is the practical examination following immediately after the declaration of theory results in the same session.
• Second and Third attempt in practical examination shall permit out of the next three sessions of NBEMS Diploma Final Examination; after payment of full examination fees as may be prescribed by NBEMS.

The Admit Card of the Candidates for theory exam will be available for download at NBEMS Website i.e. https://natboard.edu.in from December 10^th  , 2024 onwards.

The NBE Diploma Final Practical/Viva examinations are typically held in June and December sessions, with the schedule announced on the official website. During the examination, there is one internal and one external examiner who jointly evaluate the candidate. This ensures that the evaluation is fair and comprehensive.
