Eligibility
A candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2023 on provisional basis.
Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2023.
List of examinations equivalent to 10+2:
- Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.
- Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) as well as State Board of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects
- H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned State/UT
Age Limit
- For the General, General (EWS) and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 25 years. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1996 are eligible
- For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and Physically challenged candidates, the upper age limit is 28 years. That is SC/ST and Physically challenged candidates born on or after July 01, 1993, are eligible.

Admit Card
The admit card is released one week or three days before the exam, But before that advance city intimation slip is also released for the candidates. The admit card contains the information of your name,parents name,exam centre name,reporting time, exam day instruction etc.
Answe key
The answer key is released after the exam is over and candidates are given choices to challenge the answer key
Result
That is released after attending the challenges made in the answer key by the candidates. Its score to get to the institute that a candidates look for.
Counseliing
The seat allotment process is done through proper counselling which is done by NCHM and NTA has no role in it
To participate in NCHM JEE counseling, candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000.
The seat allocation process is conducted online and consists of three rounds.
Candidates allocated a seat in the first round must pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹20,000. This amount is part of the first semester fee.
If a candidate does not accept their seat or pay the fee in any round, their counseling for that round may be canceled, but they can participate again in the third (final) round.
After paying the seat acceptance fee in the third and final round, no seat can be withdrawn, and no refund is available.
After seat allocation, candidates must undergo document verification online or at a document verification center.
A 95% refund is available for seat withdrawals up to the second round, but no refund is available after that.
Candidates are required to visit the official website, nchmcounselling.nic.in, for counseling results, seat allocation, document uploading, and fee payment.
