The NEET SS 2025 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Super Speciality) exam will be on December 26 and 27, 2025. It is a national-level computer-based entrance test for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB super-speciality medical courses in India.
Earlier, the exam dates were for 7 and 8 November, but the dates changed in consultation with NMC and MOHFW
What is NEET SS?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Speciality (NEET SS) is a national-level entrance examination by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). It is the single qualifying and ranking exam for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB super-speciality medical courses in India.

Education Qualification
The eligibility criteria for NEET SS 2025 are as follows:
- You must have a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized medical institute.
- The qualifying degree must be complete or the candidate should be likely to possess it by April 30, 2025.

- Foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders, can apply without NMC registration but must obtain temporary registration during the course.
- Candidates already registered in a DM/MCh/DrNB program through NEET SS are not eligible to apply again until completion of their course.

- The standard qualifying percentile used to be 50th percentile but in recent years it has been reduced to 20th percentile to fill the vacant seats during counseling.
