National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMS) 2025 – Odisha: Eligibility
- Must be studying in Class 8 in a recognized school in Odisha.
- Should have passed Class 7 with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories such as SC/ST/PH).
Parental Income
- Student’s parental income from all sources should not exceed Rs 3,50,000 per annum
- The total number of 3314 scholarships is distributed among 30. There is a district-wise reservation of scholarships for SC, ST, SEBC, and Physically Handicapped candidates
Who is Not Eligible?
- Students in government residential schools like JNV and residential schools under SC/ST Development department, KV, Sainik Schools, KGBV, etc., where expenses are paid by the government, are not eligible.
- Exam Pattern:
- Two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
