ONGC Sports Scholarship 2025: The application form will open tomorrow, September 22, for 250 scholarships to both male and female sportspersons.  The Sports Scholarship is a national initiative by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited to support emerging Indian sportspersons financially.

ONGC is offering ₹15,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on the performance level and age group, with  250 scholarships available across various sports categories each year.

Eligibility

Age 15-20 years

Family Income should not be more than 5 Lakh per annum (per year)

Eligible Sports:

• Athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, cricket, football, golf, hockey, kabaddi, swimming, wrestling, and several others.
• Scholarship Amount:
  • National Level: ₹15,000–₹25,000/month
  • International Level: ₹20,000–₹30,000/month.
• Number of Scholarships: 250 (for sub-junior, junior, senior, and gender categories across 21 sports).
• Duration: Scholarships are usually for one financial year and may be renewable based on continued performance.
• Insurance & Benefits: Health insurance up to ₹5 lakh with premium subsidy, official ONGC playing kit, TA/DA for select events, and ONGC representation opportunities.

Other Requirement

• Indian citizen.
• Should not receive any other sports scholarship or stipend during the same period.
• Performance proof in state/national/international competitions is generally required.

How to apply for the scholarship?

• Go to the official ONGC sports scholarship website: sportsscholarship.ongc.co.in.
• On the home page, find and click the “Click Here to Apply” (क्लिक हियर टू अप्लाई) button.
• A new registration page will open. Click the “Apply for Scholarship” (अप्लाई फॉर स्कॉलरशिप) option.
• Fill in your name, address, mobile number, and other required details in the registration form and click the “Register” (रजिस्टर) button.
• After successful registration, log in as an existing user with your mobile number and password (if prompted).
• Complete the online application form by uploading all required documents (birth certificate, proof of age, Aadhaar/passport, 10th class marksheet, and sports certificates).
• Double-check the application and submit it before the March deadline.
