OPSC Assistant Section Officer Recruitment 2025: Salary Structure

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 35,400/- as per Level-9 of the pay matrix under the Odisha Revised Scales of Pay (ORSP) Rules, 2017. In addition to the basic pay, other allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits will be provided as per government norms.

OPSC Assistant Section Officer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the ASO post, candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Educational QualificationAge Limit (As of 1 January 2025)
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Must have good knowledge of computers, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 38 years Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Odisha government rules.
