The application form is open for pursuing the two year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management. The institute will not conduct any entrance exam. But will consider the entrance test conducted nationally and state level.

What is Rural Management?
A PG Diploma in Rural Management (PGDM-RM or PGDRM) is a specialized postgraduate program focused on equipping professionals with skills to manage rural development initiatives, including policy, community engagement, sustainable livelihoods, and agribusiness. It combines classroom learning, fieldwork, internships, and practical training on rural economics, governance, resource management, and project planning.
NIRDPR (National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj) is offering a two-year full-time AICTE-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Rural Management (PGDM-RM) for the 2026-28 batch. This program trains professionals in rural development management, focusing on practical techniques to address rural challenges in India.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
- Final-year students completing requirements by July 15, 2026, can apply.
- Valid score in: CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, CUET PG, or state government Management Aptitude Test (valid for 2026-28 admissions).
Selection Process
- Submit online application via NIRDPR Admissions Portal.
- Shortlisting based on entrance exam scores.
- Group Discussion (GD) + Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.

- NEC Fellowships: For economically weaker students from North Eastern states (institute will approach North Eastern Council, Shillong).
