Online applications open on February 8, 2026, and close on February 24, 2026, with exams tentatively in the first week of March 2026.​ The selection will be through online CBT exam the date will be intimated in due course of time. NAPS registration is must to apply for this post.

After successful completion of training, candidates will get a certificate on their performance

Eligibility Details

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/AICTE/UGC-approved institution is required, with results declared by January 1, 2026.​

Age limit is 20-28 years (born between January 2, 1998, and January 1, 2006), with relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD.​

Proficiency in the local language of the chosen state/UT is mandatory.​

Fee: Rs. 236 (including GST) for all except females (exempt);

Mode Payment

You can pay by debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.​

Selection Stages

• Online CBT exam will be conducted
• Local language proficiency test, which is also important
• Medical examination and eligibility verification.​

Stipend

Stipend: Rs. 12,300 (rural/semi-urban/urban branches),

Rs. 15,000 (metro branches).

PNB Apprentice recruitment sets the age limit at 20-28 years as of January 1, 2026 (born not earlier than January 2, 1998, and not later than January 1, 2006) for Unreserved and EWS candidates

Age Relaxations

SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation (up to 33 years), OBC get 3 years (up to 31 years), and PwBD get 10 years (up to 38 years, but not exceeding 34 years under NAPS).

These follow Government of India guidelines and apply only to eligible categories.

Calculation Example

To check eligibility, subtract your birth date from January 1, 2026:

• Born January 2, 1998: Exactly 28 years (eligible).
• Born January 1, 2006: Exactly 20 years (eligible).
• Born January 1, 1998: Over 28 years (ineligible without relaxation)

• A graduate degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university, with results declared on or before December 31, 2025

Qualification Rules

• Candidates will present their mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates when required by the bank.
• For NATS-registered applicants, graduation passing date must be within 4 years before January 1, 2026 (i.e., on or after January 1, 2022).
• Important point to know- You should have proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the chosen State/UT is mandatory

• The cutoff for qualification declaration is December 31, 2025, aligning with the age cutoff of January 1, 2026

PNB Apprentice applicants must register online via the BFSI SSC portal at www.bfsissc.com under “Employment Opportunities >> Apprenticeship Opportunities >> Punjab National Bank >> PNB Apprenticeship Program 2025-26”.[query]

Registration Steps

Provide complete personal/educational details, upload required documents, enter NAPS/NATS numbers if available, submit the form, and pay the exam fee per category norms.

Keep these documents ready (JPEG/PDF, <1MB each): Aadhaar (front/back), photo, marksheet/degree, caste/PwBD certificates (if applicable), PAN, plus active email/mobile.

NAPS Portal Requirement

If you have not registered on NAPS portal use this link  www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in as “Candidate” using the same email/mobile as BFSI SSC, then search “Punjab National Bank” and apply directly.

NATS Registration (For Recent Graduates): Graduates passing on/after January 1, 2022, who haven’t registered on nats.education.gov.in must register as “Student” using Aadhaar and the same email/mobile as BFSI SSC, then apply for PNB apprenticeships under “Apply against advertised vacancies”.

Post-Registration Updates: After paying fees on bfsissc.com, update NAPS apprentice code and/or NATS enrollment numbers via beep.bfsissc.com; email reminders come from info@bfsissc.com.

Additional Requirements:

• PwBD candidates: Email scribe’s full name, relationship, and Aadhaar to info@bfsissc.com.[query]
• Keep email/mobile active through results for call letters and notifications.
