Power Grid Law officer 2026 application window opens soon- The application form submission window will open on 14 November tentative in nature for appointing of Law Officer. Candidate with CLAT 2026 PG score will be able to apply for this job.
The candidates will be appointed as Law Officer in Power Grid for a period one year and after that they will be on company roll. The candidates will get handsome payout during this period.
The selection is CLAT 2026 score and the candidate’s performance in GD and Interview. Though PowerGrid.
The CLAT registration process also extended till November 7. The Powergrid Law officers registration process may start from 14 November 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated Law degree with at least 60% marks (for reserved categories, relaxations may apply).
- You must appear for CLAT PG 2026 (for LLM), as only the CLAT 2026 PG score is accepted for this recruitment.
- Maximum age: 28 years as on final application deadline (as per official notification; age relaxation per govt norms).

- Candidates must first clear CLAT PG 2026.
- Shortlisting for document verification, GD, and interview is strictly based on CLAT PG score.
- Final selection is on cumulative marks (CLAT + GD + Interview).
- Minimum qualifying marks in interview: UR – 40%, Reserved – 30%.

- First, register/apply for CLAT PG 2026: Deadline 7 November 2025.
- For Powergrid-To apply log on to https://www.powergrid.in → Careers Section → Job Opportunities→ Openings → Executive Positions on All India Basis and then “Recruitment of Officer Trainee (Law) through CLAT2026”. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted.
- After CLAT registration, apply at POWERGRID’s website (powergrid.in) between 14 November and 5 December 2025. Provide CLAT application number and other details.
- Upload scanned documents, pay application fee (₹500 for UR/OBC; exempt for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Admit Card requirement at the time of GD and Interview so candidate must preserve their CLAT 2026 admit card
- Candidate will preserve the print out of their application submitted at Powergrid
- All correspondence and process are conducted online.

Salary & Job Profile
- During training: Basic pay ₹40,000 per month plus allowances.
- After successful completion of one-year training: Officer (Law), During Training CTC 11,00,00 (E2 Level), after training CTC 22,00,000 plus Dearness Allowance, HRA, medical, and other benefits.
- Service agreement bond generally for 3 years. 5 Lakh for General Category and 2.5 Lakh for reserved category candidates
