Rajasthan VDO Recruitment 2025 Application started: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur has released a notification for the direct recruitment of Village Development Officer (VDO) 2025. This recruitment will be for a total of 850 posts under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, of which 683 posts are for non-scheduled areas and 167 posts for scheduled areas. Applications for Gram Vikas Adhikari Recruitment will be taken only through the online mode. Eligibility and Educational Qualification

For this recruitment post, the candidate must have graduated from any recognized university. Also, a computer qualification certificate is necessary:

• DOEACC “O” Level
• COPA / DPCS
• Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology (RS-CIT)
• Diploma in Computer Science or Application

Rajasthan VDO Recruitment 2025 Application Started: Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01 January 2026)
• Maximum Age: 40 years (regular relaxation applicable)
• The maximum age limit will be relaxed as per the rules for special reserved categories.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. Written Examination: This examination will be on 31 August 2025 in OMR-based offline mode.
2. Document Verification: Candidates successful in the examination will be called for document verification.
3. Posting as per merit and priority: The final selection will be on the basis of merit and priority.

How to Apply for the Rajasthan VDO Recruitment 2025?

1. Please visit the official website of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
2. Click on the “Apply Online” link in the “Recruitment Advertisement” section.
3. Log in to the SSO portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in and select “Recruitment Portal” in “Citizen Apps (G2C)”
4. If the OTR (One Time Registration) fee is pending, enter the details of category, disability status, and home state, and make payment
5. Enter CET (Graduation)-2024 Application No. and verify the SSO ID.
6. Fill the application form, upload the latest passport size photo, and fill visible body mark.
7. Verify self-identity with an Aadhaar card or other options.
8. Check all details carefully and pay the application fee. Press the submit button.
9. Take a printout of the application for future reference.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The exam will be a total of 200 marks, consisting of 160 multiple-choice questions. The exam time is 3 hours. 1/3 mark deduction for each wrong answer.
