CBSE Result 2026 Revaluation Process check how to do this
CBSE gives an opportunity to the students after the result to reevaluate their answer sheet if they are not satisfied with their marks or their status of Fail. Students may apply directly to the CBSE board website for reevaluation. CBSE has made the process little easier now.
Class X/XII Most important points for revaluation
Candidates who have applied and obtained photocopy of answerbook will only be eligible to apply for verification/re-evaluation in applied subject.
CBSE has introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM / Digital Evaluation) for Class 12 answer books starting from the 2026 examinations. Because of this, there will be no traditional “Verification of Marks” facility after the declaration of Class 12 results in 2026.
The post-result process is now simplified and focuses on:
- Obtaining Scanned Photocopy of the evaluated answer book.
- Re-evaluation of specific answers (if needed after seeing the photocopy).
