RRB Technician 2025 Correction window latest update

RRB Technician 2025 correction window will open from 10 August 2025 to 19th August 2025. During this period, candidates who have already submitted their applications can log in and make corrections to their application form. The application form is closing on 28 July 2025. After the closing of the application process, the correction window will open

RRB Technician 2025 Correction Window Schedule:

  • Correction Period: 10 August 2025 to 19 August 2025
  • Modification Fee: A payment is required to use the correction/modification facility.
  • What can’t be changed: Details entered in the ‘Create an Account’ section and the ‘Chosen RRB’ cannot be modified.

How to Access the correction window:

  1. Visit the official RRB website where you applied.
  2. Log in with your credentials.
  3. Access the application correction or modification link, which will be active during the specified dates.
  4. Make permissible corrections and pay the necessary modification fee.
  5. Submit and save/print your revised application for reference.

Only make corrections within the correction period; changes will not be possible after 10th August 2025

Here are following steps

  1. Visit the official RRB website where you submitted your application.
  2. Log in using your registration credentials (user ID and password).
  3. Locate the “Modify Application” or “Application Correction” link. This link will be active only during the correction window.
  4. Select the section(s) you wish to correct.
    • Most fields can be edited except for those filled in the ‘Create an Account’ section (like your chosen RRB).
  5. Make the necessary corrections carefully. Double-check all changes before proceeding.
  6. Pay the modification fee (typically ₹250) as prompted. This fee applies for each time you use the correction facility, and corrections are usually allowed only twice.
  7. Submit the corrected form and ensure you receive an updated confirmation.
  8. Download and save/print the corrected application form for your records.

Important Points:

  • Only certain details are editable; personal information entered during account creation and the chosen RRB cannot be changed.
  • Review the official CEN 02/2025 notification for detailed modification instructions

You can make corrections to the following sections:

  1. Name (minor corrections) – like spelling errors (not complete name change)
  2. Father’s Name / Mother’s Name
  3. Date of Birth (DOB)
  4. Gender
  5. Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/General)
  6. Educational Qualification Details
  7. Address and Correspondence Details
  8. State/City/District
  9. Mobile Number / Email ID
  10. Post/Designation Preferences
  11. Ex-Serviceman / PwBD / EWS Status
  12. Medium of Exam (English/Hindi/regional language)
  13. Choice of Exam Centers (if allowed)
  14. Signature or Photograph (if any error or mismatch)

 No correction possible in the following

  1. Chosen RRB Region: Once selected during registration, you cannot change the RRB zone.
  2. Registration Number & User ID
  3. Initial details in ‘Create an Account’ page (Basic details submitted during first-time registration)
  4. Number of attempts to modify form: Only two chances are typically allowed for correction.

 Correction Fee:

  • ₹250 per correction attempt (refundable in some cases for reserved categories if appearing in CBT).

  1. Visit the official RRB website of your chosen RRB region.
  2. Login with your registration number and password.
  3. Click on ‘Modify Application’ or ‘Correction/Edit Application’ link.
  4. Make permitted corrections and pay ₹250 correction fee online.
  5. Re-submit and download/print the corrected application.

Important Dates:

  • Correction Window Opens: 10 August 2025
  • Correction Window Closes: 19 August 2025
