RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 opens in June

RRB Technician 02/2025: The Lat date of online registration has been extended till August 7, 2025.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 opens in June: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a new notification (CEN 02/2025) for recruitment to Technician Grade-III and Technician Grade-I (Signal) posts. This recruitment notice will be issued on 21 June 2025.

The application process for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 will start from 28 June 2025, and the last date has been kept till 28 July 2025 at 11:59 pm. These applications will be accepted only through the online mode, and candidates can apply for only one RRB region.

  • Pay Level: 5
  • Initial Pay: ₹29,200/-
  • Medical Standard: B-1
  • Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025): 18 to 33 years

  • Qualification: Diploma/ B.Sc. in Related Field

Technician Gr. III:

  • Pay Level: 2
  • Initial Pay: ₹19,900/-
  • Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025): 18 to 30 years

  • Qualification: 10th Pass + ITI in Related Field

Education Qualification

TECHNICIAN GRADE I SIGNAL

A) Bachelor of Science In Physics / Electronics / Computer Science /information Technology/ Instrumentation
from a recognized University/Institute

(OR)
B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-streamof basic streams of Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute
(OR)
B) Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams (OR)
Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams.

TECHNICIAN GRADE III

Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Fitter / Electrician /
Electronics Mechanic /Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic Mechatronics / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor
Vehicle) / Welder / Machinist.

(OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trade mentioned above.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay the application fee to complete the registration process.

  • SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class have to pay Rs 250 (which is returnable after the exam).
  • Other Categories-Rs.500 (Rs 400 Returnable after the exam)

In total, recruitment of around 6180 posts will happen. Candidates must apply only after matching their name and date of birth from the Aadhar card with the 10th mark sheet, so that there is no error.

Detailed notification will be available on every RRB website on June 28, which will give complete information about eligibility, selection process, application process, reservation, exam pattern, syllabus, exam date, city, and more. It is important to read the same notification carefully before applying.

Medical Fitness

STANDARDS OF MEDICAL FITNESS: Candidates called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that they are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted for by them. Visual Acuity Standard is an important medical fitness for railway service. The medical requirements against different medical standards for different categories are outlined below:
