Special Adalat On 10 November 2025: Northern Railway

Friends, Northern Railway has released a notice in the newspaper stating that a Special Court will be Organized on November 10, 2025, to resolve pending cases of compassionate appointments. Through this notice, the railway has informed that while the normal process for compassionate appointment cases often takes months or even years, in this special court, such cases will be settled on the spot.

What is a Compassionate Appointment Special Adalat?

• Pending cases for appointment on compassionate grounds, where family members/dependents are seeking employment due to the death, permanent disability, etc., of a government employee, will be expedited and heard in this court.

• This special hearing will be held on November 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM in various divisional offices including Delhi, Lucknow, Moradabad, Firozpur, Ambala, Jammu and the Northern Railway headquarters (Baroda House, New Delhi).

What do you have to do?

1. If you have any such pending case, you must send all the necessary documents related to your grievance (complaint/representation) in duplicate to the concerned Senior Divisional Personnel Officer. If the matter pertains to the Headquarters, send it to the Deputy Chief Personnel Officer (HQ-I).
2. All these documents must reach the concerned officers by November 4, 2025.

Keep It In Mind

1. Workshops and matters related to extra divisional offices must be sent to the respective division.
2. Old, previously scheduled cases will not be heard.
