TANCET 2025 Result: The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) result has been officially declared. Thousands of students who dream of getting admission into MBA, MCA, and other postgraduate courses were waiting eagerly for this moment. The wait is over now, candidates can download the result.
How Many Students Appeared for TANCET 2025?
This year, 38,301 students registered for the TANCET 2025 exam.
- For the MBA course, around 22,806 students applied.
- For the MCA course, about 10,287 students registered.
- For the CEETA PG – 5208 Students Registered.

The exam was conducted smoothly on March 22, 2025, and March 23, 2025 (CEETA PG) at various exam centers across Tamil Nadu. Students came from different parts of the state to take this important exam.
When we compare the numbers to the past years, there is a small drop. In 2024, around 34,020 students had registered. Even in 2023, the number was a little higher, with about 39,249 students.
TANCET 2025 Result Announcement
The results were officially announced on April 28, 2025, by Anna University, which conducts the TANCET exam every year.

tancet.annauniv.edu. - You just need your registration number and date of birth to log in and see your result.
Scorecard Download Dates
After checking the result, the next important step is to download the scorecard. The scorecard is very important for the counseling process and admission later.
Here are the important dates for downloading the TANCET 2025 scorecard:
- Start Date: May 07, 2025
- Last Date: June 06, 2025
Note – Students must download their scorecards between these dates. After June 06, the download link will not be available. So, don’t forget to download and keep a printed copy safe.

Why is the Scorecard Important?
You will need the TANCET scorecard for admission to the MBA, MCA, or M.E./M.Tech courses in colleges across Tamil Nadu.
It has important details like:
- Your name
- Roll number
- Marks scored
- Percentile score
- Category rank
Without the scorecard, you won’t be able to take part in the counseling or admission process.
What Will Happen After the TANCET 2025 Result?
After downloading the scorecard, students must get ready for the counseling process.
In counseling, you will choose your preferred colleges and courses based on your TANCET marks.
The counseling dates will be announced soon by the authorities. Usually, counseling starts in June or July.
