The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 has started and counselling process is a pivotal step for candidates aiming to secure admission into MBA and MCA programs across Tamil Nadu. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu, oversees this centralized counselling procedure.

First candidates have to register online for the counselling, the link will be provided at the right time

Registration and Application:
- Visit the official counselling portal: tn-mbamca.com.
- Complete the online registration by providing necessary personal and academic details.
- Pay the counselling fee:
  - General Category: INR 600
  - SC/SCA/ST (Tamil Nadu candidates): INR 300
Document Upload and Verification:
- Upload scanned copies of required documents, including academic certificates and identification proofs.
- The uploaded documents will undergo online verification by the authorities.
Rank List Publication:
- Based on TANCET 2025 scores and provided information, a rank list will be published on the official website.
Choice Filling and Seat Allotment:
- Candidates can select their preferred courses and institutions based on their ranks.
- Seats will be allotted considering the candidate’s rank, preferences, and seat availability.
Reporting to Allotted Institutions:
- After seat allotment, candidates must report to the designated institution within the specified timeframe to complete admission formalities.

Important Considerations:

Supplementary Counselling: If seats remain vacant after the initial rounds, supplementary counselling sessions may be conducted.
SCA to SC Counselling: Special counselling for Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA) candidates to fill unfilled SC vacancies.
