Technician Requirement at ECI: Selection Process
The selection methodology will comprise a stage selection process, i.e., Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Trade Test. There will be no personal interview.
CBT shall be of multiple-choice question types. The Computer-Based test is for a duration of 120 Minutes for 100 Questions (20 minutes per hour extra for PwD candidates as per Government Guidelines). Each Question will carry 1 mark. Every wrong answer will attract 0.25 negative marks. The Question Paper will be in English, Hindi & Telugu only. However, in case of any error/variation in other languages, the English version of the question shall be valid

Trade Test
Only the short-listed candidates will be called for the Trade Test at Hyderabad. The candidates will be allowed to take part in the Trade Test process only after successful completion of the Document Verification process. The date, time, and venue of the Trade Test will be intimated by registered email mentioned in the online application form. Technician Requirement at ECI: Document Verification
- Hall Ticket along with the Government ID Proof, viz. Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving License, etc. At the time of certificate verification, the following documents shall be produced in original with a set of self-attested photocopies for Document Verification before the Trade Test. Failure to do so will summarily result in the rejection of his/her candidature.
- An online registered application form, duly signed, and with a recent color passport-size photo.
- Hall Ticket for Trade Test.
- 10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating the Date of Birth.
- ITI Marks sheet & Certificate (NTC) in the applicable Trade.
- NAC Certificate in applicable Trade or Experience certificate, whichever is applicable.
- No Objection Certificate if employed in Central / State Government / Public Sector Enterprises / Autonomous bodies.
- Candidates belonging
- Ex-serviceman Category.
- Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as a candidate from J&K.
- Copy of Application Fee remittance (For both Online/Offline modes), wherever applicable

How to Apply Technician Requirements at ECI?
Eligible candidates, including Internal Employees, have to apply ‘ONLINE’ through our website https://www.ecil.co.in > Careers > Current Job openings for advertisement details.
After completing the online application process, the candidate is assigned a system-generated application number that is to be retained for any future reference.
The candidate needs to take a printout of the registered online application form, which will be available up to the last date for online registration.
Print out: The candidate has to sign on print-out of on-line registered application form by affixing the recent color passport size photograph (4X3 cm) and bring the self-attested copies of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, Caste & PwD (if any) along with copy of fee remittance invariably at the time of document verification before Trade Test.

Eligibility Criteria
Age: 27 years as of 30 April 2025
Education Qualification: Candidate should have Matriculation/SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (NTC) with NAC OR Matriculation/SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (NTC) with one year relevant experience in manufacturing processes as on 30/04/2025.
The ITI Certificate (NTC) should be in the above-mentioned trade only at S.No. 1-9. This includes NTC, Board-Based Basic Training, as well as advanced modules under the Multi-skilled training pattern of the Directorate General of Labour & Employment, being implemented through the ITI upgraded as a Centre of Excellence in the required trades.
