This notification has released by office of the Director of Government Examination, Telangana Hyderabad. Through this students can apply for the course of Diploma in Elementary Education and Diploma in Pre School Education 1st Year Examinations for the 2024 – 2026 batch. Difference Between Telangana Deled/ DPSE Exams and TS DEECET Exam
There is a difference between Telangana DIST and Telangana DELED DPSE exam application, let’s understand the difference between the two
Telangana D.El.Ed / D.P.S.E Exams
- These are regular annual/semester examinations for Diploma course students.
- Only those students appear who are already enrolled in D.El.Ed. or D.P.S.E. college.
- Example: If you have taken admission in 2024–26 batch, then you will have to give 1st year exams in Nov 2025.
- In this, once-failed candidates (students of previous batches) can also reappear.
- This is basically an exam within the course.
Telangana DEECET
- DEECET is an entrance exam conducted by Telangana State.
- On the basis of this exam, students get admission in D.El.Ed. colleges (Government DIETs and Private Colleges).
- Its syllabus is based on 10th + 12th level (there are different options for Telugu/Urdu/English medium).
- After qualifying in this, you are allotted a seat through merit list / counselling.
- Meaning DEECET is for admission in the course, while D.El.Ed./DPSE exams are part of the course.
