Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG ECET) is a state-level exam. The exam is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam is for admission to the second year (lateral entry) of engineering and pharmacy courses. Candidates must be enrolled in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy, or have a B.Sc. (Mathematics) degree. The online registration process of TG ECET will start from February 2026.

Important Information related to TG ECET 2026 Registration and Exam Center

1. Candidates who wish to apply for TS ECET – 2026 are requested to fill in the particulars carefully in ONLINE mode only.
2. The application filling procedure consists of three steps. Step 1: Application Fee Payment Step 2: Fill up the Application Form Step 3: Print your Filled in Registration Form.
3. All the candidates should bring print out of their Hall Ticket to the Examination Hall at the time of Entrance Test.
4. The candidates should bring the printout of Registration Form to the Examination Hall with a latest passport size photograph affixed and duly signed by a Gazetted Officer/ Principal of the College where the candidate has studied.
5. Candidates have to select and appear for only one TS ECET – 2026 subject paper.
6. Candidates are advised to select the appropriate TS ECET – 2026 subject paper based on their specialization in Diploma and their interest of taking Admission into a specific Degree course. 
7. Candidates are advised to visit the allotted Test Center one day before the date of Examination to avoid any inconvenience to reach Test Center in time on the day of Entrance Test.
8. Candidates are required to report to the Test Center by 07.30AM for the morning session Examination.Candidates will not be allowed into the Examination hall after 09.00AM for morning session and will not be permitted to leave the examination hall before 12.00 Noon for morning session.
9. The candidate is required to verify his / her Hall Ticket Number, Name, Branch, Photograph etc., displayed on the screen before commencement of the test on the day of Examination.
10. Medium of Question Paper – English Only.

TSCHE will release the result of TG ECET Exam 2026. Firstly, authority will release final answer key and same day or after 2 days authority will release result of TG ECET Exam. TG ECET 2026 counseling dates

THCHE will Starts the TG ECET Counseling 2026 process in the second week of June 2026 for admission into BE/ BTech lateral entry and B pharmacy courses across Telangana. The TG ECET Counseling will conducted in multiple phases including Phase 1, Phase 2 and a Spot Round to fill vacant seats. The process will complete out online, starting with registration and fee payment, followed by document verification, web option entry, and seat allotment.
