TS PGECET 2026 is entrance test for full Time courses of M.E / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M. Arch. / Graduate level Pharm. D (P.B.), in Universities, Affiliated Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture Colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2026-2027
The candidates must note that first preference in ME/MTech and Pharma college will be given to GATE/GPAT candidates and after filling the seats through GATE/GPAT the candidates with PGECET 2026 admission will be offered.
The application process starts in March 2026 and Continues till first week of May 2026 though the application form also opens for late comers with extra fee according the closing date of application form window

For the primary application form they need not apply but for counselling they will register on the website
GATE/GPAT First Preference
The vacant seats after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on the Rank/percentile score secured in the TG PGECET-2025 Entrance Test.
A separate notification will be issued for GATE/GPAT Candidates for registration to have admission into Full Time courses of M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.Arch. / Graduate Level Pharm.D (P.B.)

Education Qualification
Engineering and Pharmacy courses is 50% marksin group subjectstaken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).
The candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant GOs at the time of admissions.
All PG programmes of Part-Time / Sponsored courses shall not come under the purview of this test (TG PGECET-2025
Exam Centre

Admit Card
The admit card will come online and will carry your information, such as your name, Parents’ name, your DOB, Exam Centre, Exam Timing, Reporting time and instructions to follow

You will carry any government issued ID such as Aadhar Card,Voter Id, Passport, Pan Card
It will be better to search for any internet café around the area and download the admit card without this document you cannot enter the exam centre

Step-by-Step Application Process
• Visit pgecet.tgche.ac.in and click ‘New Registration’ using email/mobile for OTP verification.
• Fill personal/academic details, select test papers (fee ₹1100 general/₹600 SC/ST/PWD per test), and upload photo/signature (JPG, <30KB).[conversation_history]

Late submissions allowed up to first week June with escalating fees (₹250 to ₹5000)
TG PGECET 2026 counselling occurs online via pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in post-results, in multiple rounds starting August 2026.
Counselling Steps
- Registration & Fee Payment: Register using hall ticket/rank, pay ₹1200 (₹600 reserved) online.
- Document Verification: Upload scanned copies; special categories report physically at helpline centers like Osmania University.
- Web Option Entry: Log in to select preferred colleges/courses by rank/priority; edit options in given window.
- Seat Allotment: Check provisional list per round; accept/reject or opt for upgradation.
- Reporting: Report to allotted institute with originals for final verification and fee payment.
