TG ICET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
TG ICET registration process starts on 12 February and candidates must check the eligibility criteria if they can appear for the entrance test for MBA and MCA admission in the state.
Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test 2026 is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda
It is conducted on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) for admission to MBA and MCA programmes in universities and affiliated colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2026-27.

1. Nationality & Domicile Requirements
- The candidate must be an Indian National.
- Must satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down

2. Age Limit
- There is no upper age limit to appear for TG ICET 2026.

- Must be Indian national.
- Satisfy local/non-local status per Telangana GOs: Ms No.25 (19.3.2004), 108 (30-7-2005), 66 (15-7-2011), 5 (2-8-2014), 7 (5-8-2014), 33 (31-12-2014), 22 (27.07.2019), and amendments.
- For AP: Follow Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Order 1974 (amended) + G.O. Ms. No.15 HE(TE) (27-02-2025).
- Non-Indians: Follow university-specific rules.
Academic Qualifications
- Final-year students or those who completed degree but awaiting results can apply (check Para 4/5 for full details).
- MBA: 3/4-year Bachelor’s (e.g., BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BBM, BCA, BE/BTech, BPharm; excludes Oriental Languages).
- MCA: BCA/BSc/BCom/BA with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
- Distance/ODL degrees valid if recognized by UGC-AICTE-DEC/DEB per UGC rules.

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam
- Unreserved: 50%.
- Reserved (SC/ST/BC): 45%.

- General: 25% (50/200 marks).

5. Qualifying Marks in TG ICET Exam
- To qualify the entrance test, candidates need to score at least 50 marks out of 200 (i.e., 25% qualifying marks).
