The notification was out earlier for 8,477 non-teaching posts (Clerks and various Group D staff) in West Bengal government-aided schools.

WBSSC Group C and D Recruitment 2025 is a competitive recruitment process which is being conducted by the West Bengal School Service Commission to fill 8,477 non-teaching posts in government-aided schools across West Bengal.

This includes 2,989 Group C (Clerk) posts and 5,488 Group D posts, such as Peon, Laboratory Attendant, Night Guard, and other support staff

The online application starts on 3 November 2025 and ends on 3 December 2025. Selection will be through a written exam and interview, with the exam scheduled for January 2026.​
