You can now check whether you have passed or failed the exam by visiting the official KEA website.
What is the Kannada Language Exam in UGCET?

In the UGCET (Undergraduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), there is a special Kannada Language Test for some candidates.
This test is compulsory for students who claim reservation under the Horanadu or Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses (Clause C and D) and have not studied in Kannada medium.
It checks your ability to read, write, and understand basic Kannada language.
Who are Clause Code C & D Candidates?
Clause Code C | Clause Code D |
Horanadu Kannadigas – Candidates who are from outside Karnataka but are of Kannada origin. | Gadinadu Kannadigas – Candidates from border areas of Karnataka who speak Kannada but have studied in another language. |
Why is this Passing Result Important?
If you are a Clause C or D candidate, you must pass the Kannada language exam to get reservation benefits and be included in the UGCET 2025 counselling process. Even if you have a high CET rank, failing the Kannada test means you won’t be considered for further admission under your reserved category.
