Yes Indian Railway will be helping NEET UG aspirants who are appearing for the pre medical exam May 4 not directly but indirectly. The railway especially central railway has decided to cancel its weekly mega block on certain corridor thus helping NEET Aspirants.

What is Mega Block?

Central Railway through its press release said there will be no mega block on the Main line, Harbour line and Trans Harbour line “to ensure smooth and convenient travel for NEET aspirants and their accompanying family members” as per a PTI report.

As is the practice with Railway that it generally halt or curtail suburban services for a few hours every Sunday in Mumbai. This is generally done for maintenance and infrastructure upgradation works.

Railway officials further stated that suburban local trains will be operated as per the Sunday timetable with fewer services, although there will be no mega block coming Sunday.

While there is a news emerging of paper leak in the social media, railway initiative has really brought some good news for NEET UG aspirants. The admit card for the May 4 exam has been released by NTA and candidates who did not download it from the official website- neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET UG hall ticket login credentials are- application number, date of birth. NEET UG is scheduled to be held on May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
