Arunachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling: Know Your Merit! The Arunachal Pradesh has released the form for the candidates of the NEET UG 2025 score against the candidates available in the state. This has been started for the candidates to know their merit of getting admission in MBBS or BDS seats in Arunachal Pradesh.
Last date to apply is 30 June
It is important to note that this is not a counselling procedure. When the counseling for NEET UG 2025 starts, candidates will exercise to register and participate in the counseling process
For this round of knowing their eligibility for getting admission, a candidate can fill the form and enter their basic details such as Name, Father Name, NEET UG roll Number, Category, NEET UG 2025 All India Rank, Marks obtained out of 720, and their mobile number. The last candidate will upload their scorecard and submit it.

The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE) is the nodal agency under the Ministry of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, responsible for overseeing higher and technical education in the state. Established as a separate department in January 1996, following the bifurcation of the Education Department, DHTE manages all aspects of higher education from the collegiate level upwards, including science and technical education.
Arunachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling: Key Functions and Objectives
- Acts as a bridge between the Ministry of Education, universities, government colleges, and private colleges in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Controls government colleges, including staff allocation, fund allocation, and management of UGC-sponsored salaries.
- Recommends the opening or closing of colleges in specific regions to the Ministry.
- Implements education policies as enacted by the state government.
- Manages teacher promotion, motivation, and college grants.
- Oversees the administration of stipends, scholarships, and loans for higher and technical education.
- Conducts entrance examinations (such as APJEE) and coordinates the nomination of students to technical and professional courses, including engineering, pharmacy, and other fields.
- Collects and compiles data from all higher, technical, and professional education institutions to monitor and improve educational standards.

Location and Structure
- The DHTE office is located in Itanagar and is headed by the Director of Higher & Technical Education, supported by Joint Directors and the Deputy Director.
