National Power Training Institute (NPTI PG Diploma 2025 Admissions): The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is accepting applications for its Post Graduate Diploma Courses (PGDC) for the 2025-26 session. These industry-recognised programs are designed to develop skilled professionals for the power and energy sectors. The institute provides placement opportunities, and its placement record has been 100% in the past.
The main aim of the courses is to create a pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the State, Central, and Private Power Utilities and allied Industries.
The merit list will be prepared with 80% and 20% weightage will be given to marks obtained in the degree and interview, respectively, while preparing the merit list. Interview will happen through Telephone/conferencing App/online platforms. Detailed information may be available on our website in due course of time. National Power Training Institute 2025 Admission Process
- Application Mode: Online via the official NPTI website.
- Application Fee: ₹500 (including GST), payable online.
- Selection Criteria:
- Merit-based on qualifying degree marks (minimum 60% in 10th, 12th, and B.Tech/B.E.).
- Shortlisted candidates are called for interview/counseling.
- Final selection is through counseling based on the merit list.
- Reservation: As per Government of India norms (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Physically Challenged). 25% seats reserved for sponsored candidates from power utilities.
- No Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for admission.
