PUBDET 2025 counselling begins: The registration process for the counselling begins tomorrow 2 September 2025, with online registration and choice filling from September 2 to September 4, 2025. The process is conducted in two rounds and is mandatory for all candidates who qualify in PUBDET 2025 and seek UG admission at Presidency University, Kolkata.

Counselling Process

• Eligible candidates must register online at wbjeeb.nic.in or wbjeeb.in and pay a non-refundable fee of INR 500.
• Registration requires entering the PUBDET roll number, personal and academic information, and uploading required documents.
• After registration, candidates fill preferences for courses and colleges, then lock choices by the deadline.
• Seat allotment is done based on merit rank and choice; a seat acceptance fee of INR 1,000 must be paid to confirm the seat.
• Physical document verification takes place at the university after payment.

• 10th and 12th marksheets
• Caste/category/domicile/income certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar card or other valid photo ID
• Recent passport-size photo
