How to Calculate your Percentage
Firstly we will know Method of calculating the total percentage:

For calculating you,
- Add up the total marks obtained in all subjects (Weather Compulsory or Optional) of all you ) semesters/years.
- Then Divided it by the maximum marks of those subjects.
- Then Calculate the percentage multiply by 100.
Secondly, You Must Know That How will the decimal be calculated?
- If your percentage is 59.99%, then it will not be considered as 60%, but will be considered as 59% (less than 60).
- Similarly, 54.99% will not be considered as 55%, but will be considered as 54% (less than 55).
- That means the next decimal point will not be added.
Calculate Percentage For Students with CGPA / OGPA
- If your university/institute gives CGPA or OGPA, then you will have to convert it into percentage.
- For this, you will have to follow the same method which has been decided by your university / college.
- And you will have to show the official proof (document) of that conversion at the time of Document Verification.
IBPS RRB Officers Scale Recruitment 2025: Language Proficiency Test
Proficiency in Local Language (for Officer Scale I & Office Assistants), Local language knowledge is necessary. It’s means you should know the local language of the state in which the RRB is located.
Who‘s considered proficient?
If you have studied that language in class 8th or above (from a Govt. recognized school/board), then you will consider proficient. Or if you have a certificate that you have studied that language in class 8th or above, then it will also be valid.
What Do It Candidates Does Not Know the Local Language?
No Worry If you are not proficient in local language because, After joining, candidates will get 6 months time to learn the language. If needed, the Board of RRBs can extend this time, but it cannot go beyond the probation period.

RRB Officer Scale Syllabus 2025 – IBPS
The syllabus of IBPS RRB Officer Scale Exams based on on Aptitude, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge and Professional Knowledge (Scale II & III only). It consists of both prelims and mains stages. The prelims test the reasoning and numerical ability of the candidates. The mains exam consists of questions related to general awareness, computer knowledge and language skills along with professional subjects (like IT, Law, CA, Agriculture etc.). The interview stage tests the banking knowledge, leadership ability and personality of the candidate.
