Executive Engineering (Civil) Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) post, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:Educational Qualification Age Limit Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
NOC: candidates who have been Employed in Government / Semi Government/ Central / State Government Departments/ Public Sector Undertaking are3 required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employers during the interview if they are shortlisted.
The degree should be valid and recognized by the Government of India or AICTE-approved institutionsMinimum age required: 21 years Maximum age allowed: 30 years (as on 1st October 2025 – closing date of application)

Executive Engineering (Civil) Recruitment 2025: Salary and Benefits
The post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) falls under Level-10 of the 7th CPC pay matrix, which means:Pay Salary Amount Basic Pay Rs. 56,100 per month Maximum Pay Rs. 1,77,500 per month (depending on promotions and increments) Additional allowances DA, HRA, Travel Allowance, Medical benefits, Pension under National Pension System (NPS), and other central government perks.
Executive Engineering (Civil) Recruitment 2025: Surety Bond Requirement
- The selected candidate must furnish a Surety Bond of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only).
- The bond condition is linked to the minimum service period of 3 years, which includes:
| 2 years of probation, and |
| 1 year of regular service thereafter. |
- If the candidate resigns or leaves the service before completing 3 years, the surety bond will be forfeited.
- The Board reserves the right to increase the bond amount in the future to maintain its effectiveness.

Selection Process
The selection will be done in two stages:Shortlisting through GATE Score Candidates must have a valid GATE 2024 or GATE 2025 score in Civil Engineering.Based on this score, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage. Personal Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Final selection will be made on the combined basis of GATE score and interview performance.
