MPESB Police Constable Exam 2025 Smart Preparation Tips
So, let’s talk about how you can prepare step by step.
1. First, Understand the Exam Pattern
Many students jump into preparation without knowing the paper format. Don’t do that mistake.
- The paper will be in Hindi.
- There will be 100 MCQs (multiple-choice questions).
- Time will be 2 hours.
- The best part? No negative marking – so attempt all questions.
2. Subject-Wise Strategy
(a) General Knowledge & Current Affairs (40 Marks)
This is the highest scoring section.
- Focus on Madhya Pradesh GK – rivers, dams, wildlife sanctuaries, important personalities, history, and festivals.
- Read about India’s current events – government schemes, awards, sports, and defense news.
- Make short notes for quick revision.
(b) Reasoning & Mental Ability (30 Marks)
Reasoning is all about practice.
- Solve questions on series, puzzles, coding-decoding, direction, analogy, and blood relation.
- Practice 20–25 questions daily.
- Learn short tricks but only after understanding the logic.
(c) Science & Elementary Mathematics (30 Marks)
Don’t worry – the questions are not from high-level Math or Science. They are basic school-level.
- Science: Revise simple topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology that are used in daily life.
- Maths: Focus on percentages, averages, ratios, profit-loss, time & distance, and simple interest.
3. Practice with Previous Year Papers
If you want to understand the real exam level, then solving previous year question papers (PYQs) is the key.
- MP Police exams in 2016, 2017, 2022, 2023, and 2024 are available in PDF.
- Solve them in 2 hours like a real exam.
- Check which topics are repeated every year.
4. Many students study all day without planning – and still fail. Why? Because random study = no direction. So Create a effective study plane.
- Divide your time into 3 parts: GK, Reasoning, and Math/Science.
- Study at least 6 hours daily if you are a serious candidate.
- Last 1 hour of the day → Revise what you studied.
5. After the written exam, you have to clear the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Start running practice from today – 1 to 2 km daily.
- Add light exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, and skipping.
- Eat healthy food and maintain stamina.
6. Final Revision Strategy
- In the last 15 days, stop learning new topics.
- Revise only the important notes, formulas, and GK facts.
- Give 3–4 mock tests in exam conditions.
