Indian Army TES 55 Entry: The application form will open next week for recruitment of JEE Qualified candidates for TEST 55 entry (10+2 Technical Entry Scheme) is a direct entry for young, unmarried male candidates who have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and appeared in JEE Mains 2025.

The application window opens for TES 55 on 14th October to 13th November 2025, and the course will commence in July 2026. There are 90 provisional vacancies for this entry in 2025.​

Test 55 Overview

Are Female or Married allowed?

No, It is only meant for male candidates and married males are not eligible for TES-55. The eligibility criteria clearly specify that only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the Indian Army TES-55 Technical Entry Scheme. Candidates must also remain unmarried throughout the entire training period; marriage after application or during training will disqualify a candidate from selection or lead to discharge from training

Selection Process

  • Psychology Tests: Includes Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), Word Association Test (WAT), Situation Reaction Test (SRT), and Self-Description.​
  • Group Tasks: Group discussions, military planning, outdoor tasks, and command tasks.​
  • Interview: One-to-one interview with SSB officers.​
  • Conference: Final assessment and recommendation by the complete SSB board.​
