BSc Nursing courses 2026 through NEET UG: Apply
The application form will open for admission into BSc Nursing colleges in the government colleges. The admission is offered on the basis of NEET UG 2026. These are government colleges and have high reputation of delivering the course. The institute is a part of government hospital.
MCC All India Quota (AIQ) + Central Institutes (327 AIQ seats total)
If you are looking for BSc Nursing and have appeared in the NEET UG
Conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on mcc.nic.in after NEET results. This covers 15% All India Quota seats in government nursing colleges + 100% seats in participating central institutes.
Participating Institutes & AIQ Seats (2026 matrix – exact numbers may update slightly):
- BHU College of Nursing, Varanasi (IMS BHU) 75 seats
- RAK College of Nursing, New Delhi, 69 seats
- LHMC College of Nursing, New Delhi (Lady Hardinge) Â 58 seats
- VMMC & Safdarjung College of Nursing, New Delhi 53 seats
- Dr RML Hospital College of Nursing, New Delhi  53 seats
- Florence Nightingale College of Nursing (GTB Hospital), New Delhi, 77 seats(9 Seats for outside Delhi students)
- Ahilya Bai College of Nursing (Maulana Azad Medical College), New Delhi 43 seats
Additional Quotas under MCC:
- ESIC College of Nursing (Indiranagar, Bangalore & Karnataka) – IP Quota seats
- Delhi NCR + ESIC + CW Quota seats (extra ~180 combined)
Process: Qualify NEET → Register on mcc.nic.in → Choice filling → Seat allotment (multiple rounds + stray vacancy).
BSc Nursing JIPMER Puducherry (95 seats)
- Now fully NEET-based (own JIPMER Nursing entrance scrapped from 2026).
- Seats: 85 Female + 9 Male.
- Admission purely on NEET merit (no separate counselling).
BSc Nursing Military Nursing Service (MNS) – Armed Forces Medical Services
- NEET UG mandatory for shortlisting.
- 4-year B.Sc Nursing in AFMS hospitals across India (Army, Navy, Air Force).
- After NEET, candidates go through SSB interview + medical test.
Other premium Institutes do not accept NEET UG 2026
- AIIMS (all campuses): Does NOT accept NEET. They conduct their own separate B.Sc (Hons) Nursing entrance exam.
- Eligibility (common): 17–35 years (as on 31 Dec 2026), 10+2 with PCB + English (minimum 45% aggregate – 50% for General in some places), medically fit.
- NEET Exam: 3 May 2026 (single date).
- Andhra Pradesh: Fully replaced its state exam (APNCET) with NEET.
- Some other states/private colleges may optionally consider NEET, but it is not the primary route yet.
