Assam NEET UG 2025 Counselling:Schedule released

• Duration: The entire process usually spans 2–3 months, with each round taking about a month on average

Start Date And Rounds

• Expected Start: August 2025, likely a week after the national All India Quota (AIQ) counselling begins.

Mode of Counselling

• Hybrid Process: Registration, choice filling, merit list, seat matrix, and seat allotment are online; reporting to allotted institutes for admission is offline
• Each Round: Lasts about a week to 10 days; reporting to colleges is usually 3–4 days per round

Important

Candidates applying for Special quota (Freedom Fighters/ Martyr of Assam Movement/ Extremist violence/ ExServiceman & Serving Defense Personal/ Sports quota) seats shall have to appear physically for document verification
on 18th July, 2025 at the office of the undersigned as per this Directorate letter no. No. e. DME/UG/2025/663865/3
dated 14/07/2025 and those found to be eligible for these quotas must also participate in the online counselling.
Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC of creamy layer must apply under General category

• NEET 2025 scorecard and admit card
• Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
• Domicile certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Academic mark sheets and certificates
