Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: The application form has opened to recruit 3500 apprentices in various branches of Canara Bank. The candidates will get selection on the basis of their last performance in the qualifying exam, there is an the entrance test. Candidates need to have the NATS registration for this. A monthly stipend is available you can check the stipend details according to state given below in this article.
Candidates term with the bank will be for the period of 12 Months.

Eligibility
You have a graduation degree of any discipline from the recognized university or college. Candidates must have passed their Graduation not earlier than 01.01.2022 and not later than 01.09.2025 (both days inclusive).
No Local Language Test .
Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not undergo the local language test. For other candidates, the test for knowledge of local language will be as a part of the selection process. Local Language Test will take place when the candidate get a call for Document Verification by the Bank. Candidates have to pass this test those who fail to qualify for this test they face rejection
Medical Fitness
Candidate should be medically fit for this position
Candidates found suitable for engagement based on merit shall get digital apprenticeship contract through the Apprenticeship portal www.nats.education.gov.in Candidates receiving the Digital Apprenticeship contract from the Bank need to accept it on NATS portal within the stipulated timelines. The candidate shall get an Apprentice letter only when they enter into the Contract of Apprenticeship with the Bank and same is approved in NATS portal.
Stipend
A monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- (including subsidy amount, if any, by Govt. of India) shall be available to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship training. The Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits. Canara Bank will make a payment of 10,500/- into the apprentices account on a monthly basis. Government share of Stipend of Rs. 4500 will go directly to the apprentice’s Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines. Candidate will get the stipend every month after adjusting Loss of pay, If any
The Apprentice shall get On-Job-Training (OJT) during hours of work as applicable to the clerical cadre of the Bank.
Overtime
No overtime is possible for trainees.
Leave
Bank will give one casual leave after completion of one month
Apprentice Certificate
After completion of Apprenticeship Training, Candidate will get NATS-joint certification
It is mandatory for the candidates to register on the apprenticeship portal www.nats.education.gov.in before applying for an apprenticeship in the Bank. After registration on the apprenticeship portal, they will get an enrollment number, which the candidates should keep for future reference. Candidate with 100% complete profile on the Apprenticeship portal is eligible to apply for Apprenticeship in the Bank
Selection Process
The candidate will register on Bank’s website www.canarabank.bank.in à Careersà Recruitmentà Engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Canara Bank under Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2025-26. The merit list of those candidates who have applied will be on State wise in descending order on the basis of marks/percentage obtained in 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination.
Test
There will be no written test bank will scrutinise the application form and will call candidates. Check other terms for selecting the candidates as mentioned below
In case of tie in the marks or the same percentage, the age factor will come into play, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit. The minimum qualifying marks will not be less than 60% (55% for SC / ST /PwBD candidates) 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination.
The candidates should have required percentage. As the percentage 59.99% will be as less than 60% and 54.99% will be as less than 55% and will be , as not eligible / unfit for the subject selection process. Where CGPA / OGPA is available, the same should be converted into a percentage and indicated in online application, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating that the norms of the Board/ University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
