The HSTES (Haryana state technical education society) will release application form for Haryana DET in first week of May, 2025.  The exam is crucial for admitting students into diploma courses in engineering, technology, and pharmacy, which are offered by various polytechnic institutions across Haryana. This helps in identifying students who have the aptitude and foundational knowledge required for technical education.

Haryana DET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification – Candidates must have completed Class 10th for diploma engineering courses, and Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for lateral entry.
• Minimum Marks – 35% in the qualifying examination (33% for SC/ST candidates).
• Subjects: For non-engineering diploma courses, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are required​.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Class 10th Mark Sheet -For verification of educational qualification.
• Class 12th Mark Sheet -If applying for lateral entry or specific courses that require 12th-grade qualification.
• Domicile Certificate -To confirm residence status in Haryana.
• Caste Certificate – For candidates applying under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).
• Income Certificate – If applicable, for fee concession or scholarship purposes.
• Aadhaar Card – For identity verification.
• Passport Size Photograph– Scanned image in the specified format and size.
• Signature– Scanned image in the specified format and size.
• Character Certificate– From the last attended school/institution.
• Migration Certificate– If applicable, for candidates coming from different boards.
• Proof of Date of Birth– Such as a birth certificate or 10th-grade mark sheet.

How to Apply for Haryana DET 2025

Step-1: Open your search engine and visit on the official website of Haryana DET

Step-2: Register on the official website by providing basic details and verify with an OTP.

Step-2: Fill out the application form with personal and academic details.

Step-3: Upload scanned images of photograph and signature.

Step-4: Pay the application fee online or offline (INR 1000 for general category, INR 700 for reserved categories)​
