The Indian Air Force has announced the Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025. This is a good opportunity for young individuals to join as Agniveervayu Post.  The online application process will commence on April 21, 2025, and conclude on May 11, 2025. As per the official notification, Advt. No. 01/2026, selected candidates will be entitled to various benefits, including 30 days of annual leave per year and sick leave based on medical advice. Candidates are required to provide their email IDs during registration, and call letters will be sent to them via email.

• Passed Matriculation/ 10^th or Equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Government recognized School/ Board.

Additional Ability to Apply

• Candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch, and singing one complete song.
• They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations i.e., staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/Carnatic, etc.
• Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments that require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocals or instruments.

Musical Experience Certificate

• Grade 5th or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute such as TCL or RSM, KM Music Conservatory, Bangalore School of Music, TSM, GMI, Berklee School of Music, etc. OR
• Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized university. OR
• Certificate of Participation/ Awards presented at various events. For Such Candidates, Performance/ Playing of blowing instruments with staff notation.

Indian Air Force 2025 Agniveervayu Recruitment: Exam Pattern

• Only those candidates who have qualified proficiency tests in playing musical instruments will be eligible for to written English test.
• Test Type – Objective type
• Test Language – English Language
• Test Duration – 30 Minutes.
• Total Questions In Test – 30 Questions
• Marks for Questions – 1 Mark for Each Correct Answer.
• Negative marking – No Negative Marking.

Note – The result of this recruitment exam will be released on the same day.

• Step 1: Confirm you meet the eligibility criteria, including age, education, and physical requirements. For Agniveervayu Intake 01/2026, candidates must be between 17½ and 21 years old, have a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics, Physics, and English, and meet specific physical standards.
• Step 2: Visit the Official Website- Go to the official website: agnipathvayu.cdac.in/AV/. Navigate to the “Candidate Login” section and register by providing necessary details like full name, email ID, and mobile number.
• Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form – Log in to your account and fill out the application form with personal, educational, and other details. Ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Step 4: Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, including Recent photographs, Signatures, Educational certificates, and Other relevant documents.
