How to Download the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key (When Released)
- Visit the official NTA JEE Main website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
- Look for the link: “JEE (Main) 2026 – Session 1 Provisional Answer Key” or similar under Public Notices / Latest Updates.
- Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth (or password).
- Download the provisional answer key PDF (shift-wise), your recorded response sheet, and question paper.
- Cross-check answers to estimate your score (each correct answer: +4 marks; incorrect: -1 mark; unattempted: 0).
Additional Notes
- The answer key will be available for all shifts and papers (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Planning).
- Unofficial memory-based answer keys from coaching institutes are already available on their websites/YouTube for immediate score estimation, but use the official NTA key for accuracy.
- Around 13 lakh candidates appeared in Session 1.
- If you’re also preparing for Session 2 (April 2–9, 2026), registration is open now (last date: February 25, 2026) on the same portal.
