JoSAA 2024 Counselling for JEE Main 2024- The Authority will release a detailed notification regarding the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling at josaa.nic.in. Candidates who have cleared JEE Main Exam they are Eligible for JOSAA Counselling. JEE Main 2024 counselling registration is expected to be held from 10-June to 15-June, 2024. JOSAA Counselling is Completing in 6 rounds. To Participate in the counselling, Students will need to complete the JEE Mains Counselling Registration. The Counselling 2024 will be held for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. For Applying JOSAA Counselling Process Candidates must check previous and this year cut-off of JOSAA Counselling and if the candidate feels that his/her seat will be booked in best college with selected course in JOSAA counseling then he/she can apply for JoSAA counseling process. REQUIRED DOCUMENT FOR JEE MAIN COUNSELLING:
- A Government -issued identity card (There must be a photograph on the identity card)
- JEE Main seat allotment letter 2024 issued by JoSAA.
- Three Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded during registration)
- Class 12th Mark Sheet
- Date of Birth proof
- Proof of fee Payment for JEE Main 2024 seat allotment.
- JEE Main Admit Card 2024
- JEE Main allotment letter 2024.
- JEE Main Score Card 2024.
JEE MAIN COUNSELLING PROCEDURE:
Jee main Qualified students will have to first register themselves through JOSAA website or after that candidates will have to feel the choice and will complete the further process. Full information about registration read blow process carefully.
Step-1: JEE Main Counselling Registration – JEE Main Qualified students will have to first register themselves on JoSAA website. For Registration Students need their JEE Main Application 2024 Form Number and Password. Use JEE Main Registration Number and Password and Login.
(After Successfully login JoSAA Portal the Candidates details will automatically be fetched from the JEE Main 2024 Database.)
Step-2: Choice Filling – After Registration, fill in your choice regarding the institute and course in which you want to take admission. It is advised to the candidates that they should do choice filling in as many institutes or courses as possible because if the candidate is not allotted a seat in the institute of the first choice, then the seat in the second round will come in his hands or the time of the candidate will not be wasted.
Step-3: Mock Seat Allotment – The mock seat allotment process 2024 will help the candidates understand which seats can be allotted to them based on their preference list. The Authorities will conducted two mocks of JEE Main 2024 Seat Allocations to Know Their Chances of Admission into the institutes.
Step-4: Locking of Choices – Candidates will also be able to change their preferences after the mock allotment. When candidates do not lock their choices at the time of JoSAA form filling, there is a last date for locking of choices and the authority automatically locks the choices on the last date.
Step-5: Final Seat Allotment Result- The Authority will conduct a total of six rounds of seat allotment and seat allotment process of JoSAA 2024 will be done on merit, category and availability of seats.
Step -6: After above process all seat allotted candidates will be able to download the provisional seat allotment letter and print Seat Allotment Letter. Seat allotment fee will be accepted from the candidates through online mode.
Step -7: Freeze/ Float/ Slide After JEE Main 2024 seat allotment candidates.
About Freeze/ Float/ Slide Options
- Freeze – Once the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not wish to participate in the further round of counselling, the candidate will have to click on the freeze option and candidate will available for document Process.
- Float – When the candidate is satisfied with his/her allotted seat, but He/She still hopes to get a seat in other institute during the further rounds. Then they click on Float option.
- Slide – When the candidate has accepted the seat allotted but is also open for admission into a higher preferred course in the same institute. They click on the Slide option.
Step – 8: Payment of Seat acceptance fee – Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to pay the seat acceptance fee through e-challan or SBI net banking.
CSAB Counselling for JEE Main 2024
After completing the JoSAA Counselling, The Authority will conduct CSAB counselling for JEE Main 2024. CSAB is a special round Counselling for seat allotment and this will be held for admission to NITs, IIEST, IIITs, GFTIS and IIT. Candidate have to register separately for Participation in CSAB.
