There are 97 crore voters to vote for in the upcoming polls.

The BJP will fight for its third consecutive term this time; in 2029, it won 303 seats, while the Congress got 52 seats. It could not muster enough numbers to claim the position of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

The upcoming polls are extremely crucial for the opposition bloc in India, which is fighting to stop the BJP’s run.

The last election began on 11 April 2023 and counting was held on 23. The BJP won 303 seats in the last election.
