MHT Cet Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra conducts the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for admission to various undergraduate programs in engineering, pharmacy, and other technical courses. CAP-1 refers to the first round of the counselling process.

MHT CET Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Engineering
2. The candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects.
   1. They must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
   1. Pharmacy
3. The candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of Mathematics/Biology.
   1. They must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.

ENTRANCE EXAM:

1. Engineering: Candidates must have obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2024 or JEE Main 2024 Paper I.
   1. Pharmacy: Candidates must have obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2024.

MHT CET Counselling 2024 Process

1. Online Registration and Document Upload
2. Candidates must register on the official DTE Maharashtra website.
3. Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
4. Upload scanned copies of required documents, including photograph and signature.
5. Document Verification
6. Visit the designated facilitation centers for physical verification of documents.
7. Submit original documents and their photocopies for verification.
8. Merit List Display
9. Provisional Merit List: Published on the DTE website for candidate review.
10. Final Merit List: Released after addressing any grievances raised by candidates.
11. Choice Filling and Locking
12. Log in to the candidate portal and fill in choices of courses and colleges based on preferences.
13. Carefully review and lock the choices before the deadline.
14. Seat Allotment
15. Seats are allotted based on merit, preferences, and seat availability.
16. The seat allotment result for CAP Round 1 will be published on the DTE website.
17. Download the seat allotment letter from the candidate portal.
18. Reporting to the Allotted Institute
19. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the allotted institute within the specified time frame.
20. Carry the seat allotment letter and other necessary documents for admission.
