NIFT stage II examination 2025 on 8 June- NTA will conduct the stage II entrance exam for the candidates who have cleared the stage I exam. The stage one exam result was declared on April 24, 2025. The stage II exam will be held on Sunday, June 8, across 18 cities in India. There are 4837 seats available for both UG and PG programs across all programs.
The test will assess the candidate’s ability in the following:
- Model construction
- Material handling
- Creativity

The admit card will be out for the stage II examination soon. The exam date is 8 June.
Other Important Update
- For B.Des. (NLEA) candidates, the Studio Test and Personal Interview will be held on the same day at the designated Test Centre.
- For candidates of the B.Des. (Artisans) category, the Artisan Skill Test and Personal Interview will also be held on the same day at the designated Test Centre.
- For B.F.Tech. (NLEA) Candidates, a Technical Ability Test (TAT) and a Personal Interview will be conducted on the same day as per the schedule. The TAT will be in paper-based (OMR) format.
- For PG Programmes (M.Des., M.F.M., and M.F.Tech.), a Personal Interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. These interviews will be held only in Delhi. The exact venue details will be mentioned in the Interview Call Letter issued to each candidate.
Interview Dates for PG programmes
The interviews will begin on 26 May 2025 and will continue for the next 8–10 days. The Admit Cards for Stage 2 for all programmes will be out shortly on the NTA NIFTEE 2025 entrance portal (https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/). The Admit Card will mention the date, reporting time, venue, and other important instructions related to the test and interview.
